Positive: We enjoyed our stay in Holiday Inn very much! A cozy, well designed hotel. We were welcomed very warmly upon our arrival after 10 pm by a young guy (I am sorry I did not remember his name) and he was very polite and hearty. He gave us a precious piece of advice about the pubs nearby. The room was big enough, very clean, very quiet and surprisingly cool when it was about 35 degrees outside even though we did not use the air conditioning. We highly appreciated their green policy regarding room cleaning! Plus fresh tap water from the Alps and morning coffee. It is very close to the city centre and all the major museums and sights to visit, we only walked on foot (about 20 minutes to the Opera). This is the place where we will stay next time when we go to Vienna :)

Positive: Front Office staff is very polite and helpful
Negative: Waiter in restaurant/bar first told us that we will need to wait for food since kitchen is busy, and after a while told us that the kitchen is closed. I ended up waiting around 30-40 mins to make an order and then had to accept that the kitchen is closed, it was upsetting since I was there waiting with kids. It was late evening, but waiter should have told us that they are not taking any more orders rather than keeping us waiting.

Positive: The room was air conditioned and spacious, the staff was super friendly and helpful with recommendations for dining and what there is to see in the area. After check out we could put our luggage in storage and go rent a car. There is a short term parking bay right at the door, which makes for easy loading and unloading, very helpful.
Negative: The location is not very central, most restaurants and cafes close early in the evening, so there aren't many options for going out at night. There's an electric kettle and tea/coffee in the room, but no milk pods, so we had to get our coffee outside. One of the beds had a somewhat lopsided mattress, not so comfortable.
